LMAO
All insult and judgement aside, and regardless of legitimacy or wanton desiring for attention,
Faith by it’s very nature must transcend logic. What makes sense? In that regard, what is sense? It can’t be an actual understanding of concepts, as there are many things in this world we openly accept only because we are taught or conditioned to do so. Take for example, water. There are many different ways to approach the solution. Science teaches us that water is the sum of hydrogen and oxygen atoms forming an H20 molecule. We are also taught that water has shape and mass (though highly malleable) and as such is matter in a liquid state. Other than that, it covers the world and occasionally falls from the sky with varied degrees of intensity. That’s where it ends.
Ends.
You could delve deeper if you wanted too, though science cannot explain the texture and feel of water, some will quickly lead you to neuroscience which is a much broader field in and of itself. However, it too ends. Brian, to nerve, to cell, to synapse. In a desperate panic for a definite end we toss out string theory and alternate dimensional ideas that yet again fail to lead to any one truth.
I’m not saying science is bad, and I’m not denying the progress that human beings have achieved over the years (for even progress is debatable). To tell you the truth, science is not even what I intended to jump into. It merely shows the truth that nothing really can be explained, and as such religion is just as valid an undertaking as the algebra worksheet tucked away inside your backpack.
Just because we’re forced to accept “universal awareness” does not justify the ridicule of another’s view on things.
The reason being?
Look as hard as you are able and you will find no justification.Your “solid truths” are nothing more than reliable past events with no guarantee of the future.
And Jillian, you didn’t intend for all this. This message goes to those who stand by the claim made therein. As a fellow Christian, I too can see the humor in this. :]](http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ks41lqXUXs1qziipko1_500.jpg)
